What
I am talking about here can be as little as a few
hundred dollars a month to help with bill$,
or as encompassing as an entirely new career... and
life. The choice is yours. But you don't
have to make it now. Give it some time, see
how things work out and decide when you are
confident. There is no pressure, other than
that you impose upon yourself. I really think
the idea will grow on you and when you get to the
point that you can leave the 9-5 rat race, there
won't be a question in your mind. Seriously!
This is not pie in the sky at all. Please read
this entire page before deciding. You owe it
to yourself and your family.
Did
you see the banner above? Other than being
careful not to get sand in my laptop, I was able to
work right there! (OK, not there, but places
very much like it. Several times at resorts
we've been at, by a pool with
a table and umbrella just off the beach... and of course a
cold beverage near by.) When I have a
project to research and need some quiet time in the
summer, it isn't uncommon to pack the boat and go to
work. It's relaxing, no phone
to answer, no interruptions, just ducks, sand, boats
and waves to watch
and an occasional
bikini.
I can
even enjoy some travel that is at business expense.
My daughter went to college in SC. I had to
bring her home for the end of the school year and ran into
the Myrtle Beach Harley Bikers Week. It gave me an
idea...
AmericanBikerEvents.Com was born! Now I go
there every year to enjoy the fun and make new
projects for my internet business. I'd like to
say it's really work, but by definition, can work be
that much fun? YES - IT CAN ! For
instance, the last two years, I have attended an
internet conference in Orlando and done the same
sort of thing. Last year we included a trip to
Universal Studios. You can TOO !! While
in Florida, I made
screen savers out of video of the waves rolling in
at the sea shore. Daytona Beach, Ft. Desoto,
Bradenton Beach, St Pete Beach... That was tough duty too.
But it was legitimate business and my work.
Ok, that is the really fun side and what I am
working to continue doing. I hope you will
give it a try and join me in Orlando - when you are
ready. Let's start talking about HOW you can
join me, OK?
...Remember writing those reports in school...?
Usually the subjects were boring and not of much
interest, at least to me. It was drudgery to
put together 1000 words on Shakespeare's best works.
Especially when I didn't think they were all that
good to begin with. Hmmm.... Maybe that is
where political spin all began. With BS (Bill
Shakespeare) in high
school English class.
Way
back then I
imagined writing about something I was
interested in - or at least knew something about....
It sure would have been tons easier! I would have
rather written 1500 words on snowmobiles. Or
fishing! I'm sure there are topics that
you enjoy and would have been happier to read and
write about too, weren't there? And today we
have all developed more interests and hobbies.
I go to gun shows today and can't believe the number
of people that show up and crowd the event halls.
Same for gardening, doll collectors, pets and
animals, home remodeling, boating, business groups,
antiques, lots of things!! What do you
collect? What is your hobby? Any unusual
activities? There may not be many people that
appreciate your particular hobby right there in your
neighborhood, but when we involve the internet,
there are literally thousands of people that like
all sorts of different topics. Some pretty
outrageous. Well, what if you could now make
money, writing about THOSE very topics?
Kind
of like a little payback to Mrs. McDonald, ye olde
English teacher. She did what she had
too, and thanks for that, but she never mentioned
that writing could be fun! And she surely didn't
mention you could make money doing it! Of
course that was pre-Al Gore and the internet.
Here's your opportunity (aka my problem) in a
nutshell. With the ability to generate web
traffic we have developed, we need writers to help us produce
unique, original website content for our visitors.
Because you enjoy writing, consider simply writing short reports on topics
of interest to YOU.
(Again -
There is absolutely NO COST or OBLIGATION TO Consider
this.)
CNY Online Cafe has had up to 1,136 sites
on the internet. Our testing is done.
And we have several pages
well ranked already and look to enter 2007 with a surge
in growth to take advantage of the opportunities that
abound. As things change on the web, CNY
Online Cafe wants to be
in the lead. Frankly, we have come to the point
that we NEED YOUR HELP !!! As you can imagine,
with that many sites we simply don't have time to do it all.
You have already passed a
couple preliminary tests. I like that in you already.
I wanted someone who would take action and could use
the computer, at least a little. Congratulations on
passing the first tests! You have been able to get on the web and
find this page. I now know that you can take
action, can follow instructions, and can navigate
the computer, at least a little. Lots of people
are to frightened of computers to do even that.
And I
saved time finding that out, but didn't have to explain
this every time
the phone rang. Plain and simple. I'm hoping this step got rid
of the tire kickers and strictly nosy people.
They wouldn't know a good deal if it bit them on the
nose.
Stay with me, if you are looking
for excellent earnings potential and even something you could turn
into a career, you will want to read every word of
this!
YES, it most certainly does depend upon the effort you put into
it. But if all you want is a few extra bucks
a month, this could still be of great interest to
you. Let's move on.
What I would ask of you, is to
write and publish short articles about topics that interest
you to begin with - something you have knowledge
about already, (OR that you at least, would like to
research and write about.) Everyone has interests, and if
yours is
something that others search for on the
internet as well, then we have what could be a winning
combination.
If you remember in school, when
you had to write that paper? You did the research
and wrote the paper. The big difference
is that in school it had to be long and boring.
Lots of filler and insight (yeah, insight - mostly
Bill Shakespeare). Remember?
Our reports, to give you
a
general idea, will probably be 300-700 words long.
More if needed, less, if you can be more succinct.
Yes, it does have to hold the reader's interest.
And yes, it does have to be accurate. To give
you an idea of the length, this short section (in
BLUE color) is 197 words
long. You would have to create each article
(report) to be roughly 2 times this length, as a
general target. So it isn't really
that tough.
Do you think you could write an
article, about a topic that interests you, that was
just twice as long as the section above? If
YES, let's take it a little further. Don't
forget, you have the entire internet to perform your
research with... So don't get hung
up on getting writers block.
For the first month, again, as a
general guideline, you will want to write
about 20
articles on your topic. The next month
probably 10 and thereafter, 4 each month to keep a
newsletter going. I will be able to help with
some extra content for filler, ideas for topics and with affiliate programs
for us to represent.
I
won't ask you to refer business to an affiliate unless you can stand behind it with
your beliefs. That won't let you write
honestly and from the heart. It wouldn't help
you write and it won't help website content either.
We would be in this
together, remember.
As we move along and make some
money, you may want to accept further
responsibilities and accept another topic project.
Because you will be busy for the first month
of our relationship, and less busy as the months
progress with one website and we build our website(s) and put them on autopilot. But that
is down the road. Just keep it in mind.
First things first.
OK, I can foresee a few questions
that will arise and I will try to tackle them now so
that you have a better understanding before we talk
and / or meet. No surprises. In the interest of brevity, let
me pose them as FAQs...
1) How would I make money?
There are several ways to make
money with a website. First, we could use
Adsense, a Google advertising program.
Suffice to say I have used it for a couple years and
made some money with it. These are
Google ads, you may have seen them on other sites
before:
Second, we
would have affiliate programs we would represent that
would pay us to sell their goods.
Third, we would find a niche in the topic and
create our own product to sell, which I would help
with as well.
And lastly, we will be looking to ever expand the
horizons. I know this sounds vague, but I
don't want to let to much of the cat out of the bag
here... Suffice to say I have a couple other
plans as well as further growth and experimentation.
Whatever we made on the site,
from all sources,
would be split between us each month, 50/50. I
would tell you that if you get in now, it will stay
that way for the full life of our relationship, but I can foresee the time, in the not
too distant future, that I would change that to 25%
you, 75% me. So if you are interested, don't
hesitate - answer the door! Remember, I could buy fresh newly written
articles on the internet for $10 each, but at this
point, I would rather work with a person and know
who writes them and has a vested interest in the
success of the website.
I would expect that we would make
our first money in about the 3rd month. Month
2 might have a straggler of a sale or two, but month 3 will
be the real test. Your investment so far,
would have been researching and writing
about 34 articles by the END of month 3. (20 in
month 1, 10 in month 2, and 4 in month 3 =34)
...If there are only 25 we will work with 25. 34
would again, be an ideal. If
you take your time and have only 14 articles done
and published, it will take longer. None of
these numbers is set in concrete, I'm simply trying
to give you a range to shoot for. It is
tough to accurately say. It depends on the
effort you have put in AND a little luck. :-)
Not to say that if you keep with it and have 20 articles done in month 4,
it won't work, but just take more time. I
would like to hit the high traffic times of January
- April ideally.
I
have told you that in the past,
I have had several websites. Our new website
may do better or worse, I have no way of knowing
without trying. I CAN say the most I have made from
a single website in the past for one month is
$1,433.30 with Google Adsense ALONE. I have several that have made over
$500. in a month. My goal would be to have
several that EACH make us $400 - $1,000 per month and I
will work with you to help us reach that goal.
It is not to high a goal. It IS attainable.
And it is in my best interest to aid you as much as
possible, unless I want to start my writing career
in earnest, which I don't.
That
also means that 5 sites should produce $2,000
minimum -
$5,000+ per Month. Scale your desires
accordingly. Gets interesting, doesn't it?
A year from now your work week could consist of
writing 5 newsletters weekly and making $2,500. a
month. Not a bad return for 4 half days work.
Are you starting to see just how a new career and
even a new life is possible? Are you starting
to think you could manage to work on 10 websites?
;-)
2) Alright, How much
is this gonna cost ME?
That's an
easy one. Dollarwise, ZERO,
Nadda, Zilch, nothing. I'm looking for
writers, not
investors.
Otherwise,
your time and effort to research, write, and publish the
articles and newsletters. That's
it. You will need your own computer and a place
to use it, but the family computer will work just fine.
3) Is there any guarantee?
NO, I
can't guarantee that your topic will make any money.
I will have a good idea from researching the topic a
little. But, it is up to the quality of your
work
and the traffic that we can generate. Failure would
be highly unlikely, but no, I can not guarantee our
project will work. But take another look at
question #2 involving
your investment.
It will be 100% of my money invested. Understand that I am
NOT going to invest my money and my time in a project
that I don't think will pay off - our fortunes in
this respect, will be linked.
As I
have indicated, I have already done a lot of testing and
have an idea what works and what doesn't.
But NO, I will not guarantee any return, I simply
can't. If this bothers you, especially when it
is all my money invested, then you are not cut out
to get into a business of your own, of ANY kind.
Ask any businessperson what they have at risk.
It is vastly more than writing a few articles, and
they have the same guarantee as you do. I
can't think of an opportunity I have ever seen that
could be set up to be more fair to you. If you
find one, save me a spot too!
I admit to possibly having a little to much faith in
my fellow (wo)man and often it hasn't worked out...
But when it does, it really is a good feeling to
help someone else. Believe me, I will be
screening this to avoid problems, but I recognize
they will appear. We will just have to deal
with them together.
4) I
have a business already and need a website.
Will this project work for me?
YES,
I have no objection to working on that basis, but
understand that the profits will be split 50/50 from
the website. There are certainly other things
to consider on the expense side, but we can work those out too,
individually. This could be a SUPER
opportunity for this sort of arrangement! You
have the expertise in your field and you should use
it! I may be able to show you how we can put
it to use and make a lot more money than you ever
imagined we could - online!
Lot's of business owners would like to slow down.
They have worked hard most of their lives and
deserve to be able to. Maybe the work is
physically hard, or maybe dealing with the
aggravations are getting to you. Or maybe you
are just plain burned out, (that's how I got into
thinking about all of this). This may be your
way to enter an early retirement.... again,
when you are ready. But start NOW! To
plan for the future...
I
have had to turn businesses away that wanted custom websites built.
Why? Frankly, I can make more by
making websites for myself and my partners. This
is the only way I will currently take on that type
of work any more. I am more interested in
making $1,000 per month than charging you a one time
$2,500 fee.
5) OK,
I write the articles, what
does CNY provide?
Other than the opportunity to
learn the website business, I will
list many of the items I will be taking care of for
us. In many areas I have service providers to help that I pay
monthly. So part of the answer is the guiding
hand to help you get on the web to begin with.

Guidance and
Materials to Get
Our Website Into a Money Making Mode
-
And
MOST importantly, I have
available, a HIGHLY optimized website platform for
us to use. This is really the key to our
site becoming a winner and not just another site
on the internet. It's as close to automatic
as we can make it.
What is missing is that it needs unique content.
-
In short, I would do
most of the
background work. I already perform all of
the above functions for my other sites and have
these things in place. Sure, you can get
them too. But they do cost money and you
need to know how to use them. I am
offering to avail these services for both our
benefit in exchange for the unique content and
growth of the websites.
Don't worry if you don't
understand all of the above. I do. I
just don't have the time or inclination to write the
articles.
6) So, what do I need you for?
If you can do all of the above,
you don't need me. But you wouldn't have the
platform I have (that's key!). Just as I could write articles. But I don't want to take the
time, that I don't have anyway, required to do the articles.
Short story - The people I
am looking for don't want to handle the technical
end of it. Hopefully,
you will see it as I do, a win-win situation.
7) You mentioned a career. How
so?
Yes, I did. If you treat
this as a learning experience, you will find out how
to do all of these things I mention that I will do.
If you decide next year, or in two or three years that you don't need me,
fine, you are welcome to start out on your own.
OR you may find you like our situation.
THINK OF THIS!!!! - - - -
Working one night a week to put together the weeks
work on the website(s) Lets say we have 6
websites together.
If YOU only make $400 PER site, you now have
$2400. a month for what could amount to one HALF day's work
a week.
Again, I seriously don't think that is
too high. (My target is for each site to make
$400 for EACH of us as a MINIMUM.)
Writing 1800 - 3000 words per week and putting out a
newsletter. (To the end of the last sentence
was 2,993 words I had written on this webpage in just about
5+ hours, enough for 6 websites!) Yes, I paused and hemmed and
hawed, rewrote things a couple times to be just as I
wanted. Read it over and did it again, because
I hadn't conveyed my thoughts well. If I had
been organized maybe it would have been quicker, but
that is the part of writing that I simply don't care for.
Sure,
yours might be on several different
topics, something for each niche we choose. But isn't it easier to write several
smaller articles than to organize many thoughts in one larger one? Guess
that's up to you. It is for me! Sure, they can be longer.
There is nothing magical that says they have to be
500 words. Some will be 300, some will be 1000
- that's FINE! 500 is ONLY a goal for an
average. If it ends up to be an average of
350, but it is high quality, that is fine too!
It DOES have to be quality. (They DO need to
be 300+ words to syndicate.)
And if you don't want a career,
and you like having someone to do the "other" work,
maybe we can just stay with this same arrangement.
You can still make pretty good money! And
I'm pretty sure that after 52 years, I am not about
to find a great love of writing. So your end
is safe, as long as you keep at it. Keeping
"at it" would usually amount to writing a newsletter
for each site, once a week after month 2. Some
newsletters would amount to 100 words and even less,
recommending a product to solve a particular problem
for readers. Some products COME
with such material ready to go!
The
writing end would be YOUR business. As
far as "your end" goes, you would need to :
-
Pick a topic that people
search for on the internet, that we agree upon.
-
Create the unique content for
the site and then the newsletters. (And
update it as needed, but that, if done right, would merely form
topics for future newsletters automatically. ;-) )
-
Have
your own computer to work on, with an internet
connection. You could even go to the
library for that matter!
-
A place to have your computer
set up. At your home, work, or the library.
-
An email account - a free
Yahoo account is fine. The site will have
email as well, so this certainly isn't a biggie.
-
Be responsible and supply
unique, original content and coordinate with me.
Your entire weeks work might even be something
like an interview with an authority in your
topic. For instance, if your topic is
antiques and you record an interview you make
with a dealer that specializes in some area of
interest, that's super! (In this case, I
would recommend that you take a couple pictures
or video it to show examples. But again,
these are the details I can even help with.)
-
YOU
will also be responsible for your own taxes and
any other expenses of your business. It is
YOUR business after all. But I can't
really foresee any, other than taxes and perhaps copy
paper or incidental office supplies to get
started and work for say 6 months, to see if you
like it. Things you probably have and use
already.
-
You can do this sort of work for anyone else you
desire. So long as the content used for
the sites you are working on was originally
written by you, and is unique for CNY's website(s).
(I won't stand for any problems with
copyrights.) I can tell you, there is demand for this on the internet.
But they usually pay you per article ($5-10) and
keep all the profits to themselves. That
is the HUGE difference I am offering. I
want someone involved enough to really care
about the outcome. You should end up
making a lot more than that per article with
good content. We will both make more that
way.
-
(added 11-24-06 **Earlier this week, I ran
across another business that is offering
something very similar. Except they offer
you 30%. If you are interested, don't
wait. I do reserve the right to change the
50/50 percentages for any future agreements.
Get in now and lock up the 50%! The next
round of people I work with (if any) will
probably change in this regard.)
8) What
else can you tell me...?
After we get
ramped up and going in
a couple months, we would approach others who have like
topics and joint venture with them to increase our
business sales even further. That's when it really gets
fun! ...and profitable! I've got lots of plans!
knock, knock, knock... ANSWER THE DOOR !
9) Ok,
what's the next step?
So now it is up to you. One
more "test" - Send me an email. Be sure to
include your name, address, and phone number
together with any topic you may want to write about
and why you are interested in the topic and this
arrangement.
-
Be creative.
-
This is a job application in some
ways. Be sure to show me your writing style and how
you would "speak" to our customers with your
writing.
-
Keep it under 500 words.
-
In
newsletters, the recipients need to feel as if you
are talking to THEM. Try to do that.
-
Don't forget to answer the things I asked of you
above...
Show me whacha' got and let's work together!
I'm ready to start NOW, how about you?

12-4-06 Update-
I've had 3 or 4 inquiries as
to who it was that owned and
operated this website.
I see that I neglected to
really answer that above.
Probably for the same reason
you want to know - Security.
Soooo... NO, I am NOT Raoul
from the Dominican
Republic... (I thought that
question funny in one
sense... Sad
in another.). It's too
bad that there are so many
rip offs that we all have to
be suspicious and wary when
looking into anything on the
web. But I understand
your need for some security
too... Especially the
ladies. There are some
who aren't exactly white
knights out there.
After thinking it all over,
if you wanted to, you could
get my name and address out
of the phone book, so I'm
not really impeding any
criminal activity by my
silence in this area.
So let me introduce
myself...
I am George Devendorf aka
Corky. I use a mail
address of PO Box
1172, Weedsport and have
lived on Rte 31 in Weedsport
for about 5 years now.
I am an insurance agent with
an office in Cicero, but am
moving as quickly out of
that profession as I can,
and into the internet
marketing arena. I
don't take that lightly, as
I have held insurance
licenses for 30+ years.
But I am lucky enough to be
in a position to be able to
phase that out as I build
and phase the internet into
my business life. I
graduated from Cato High
School and lived in
Baldwinsville, NY for those
30ish years (still in the
Cato district though, thanks
to some Jerrymandering,
where my daughters also went
to school and I paid taxes).
I am also a notary in Cayuga
County and thus you may
check me out under my state
licenses if you feel the
need. I tell you
all this to let you know
that you are dealing with a
local business, that happens
to have an internet
presence. I can see
how that could be important
to you.
Don't worry, I don't even
want to sell insurance
anymore. The stress
level of the internet is
incredibly less and at least
one of the prime reasons for
my choice (that and I like
to shed the neckties and don
the t-shirts, tomatoe-Bob
shirts and jogging
pants).
I welcome
any further questions and of
course applications.
Please email me at
CNYOnlineCafe@Yahoo.com
I would
just ad to the above that I
am very impressed with the
people I have heard from!
I really wasn't sure what to
expect. But must say
"thank you" to all that have
contacted me and I look
forward to hearing from
everyone that might like to
consider this option.
If this is
at all appealing, you owe it
to yourself and your family
to send me a note. It
is your writing ability I am
concerned with, not your
education level. If
your writing sounds coherent
and you can write an
interesting article, you
HAVE the qualifications.
Now all you need is the
interest in a topic.
Remember, there is no
obligation or cost to do
that much!

6-23-07 update.
Things
are changing on the
internet! And in
keeping abreast of them, I
just want to ad there is a
new method, that seems
quicker and much more
lucrative!
I'm
not going to spill the beans
on what it is, but if the
above seemed too imposing
for you, but you like to get
on the forums and converse
with people. AND
(there is always an AND,
isn't there?!!) , AND...
you could put together ONE
30 page report on a highly
targeted and searched area
(30 pages, give or take,
size 14 font, double spaced.
At least one page will be
the table of contents and a
couple can be a resource
directory - this isn't a
massive job and I have
several outlines in some
niches - can you fill in the
blanks?), then I have a way
to get things going within a
month. And after the
month, it would take about
an hour a day cruising the
forum and a couple hours a
week adding content.
But this could very easily
be full time pay. (See
guarantee above, but it's
very do-able).
If this is
at all appealing, you owe it
to yourself and your family
to send me a note. It
is your writing ability I am
